The School of Philosophy has two locations -
in downtown Toronto, and in St. Catharines, Ontario.
Our Toronto location is housed in an old red-brick house on a residential street in the heart of downtown, near the Royal Ontario Museum and the University of Toronto campus.
It is conveniently located just north of Bloor St. W. between Spadina Avenue and Avenue Road. As the School is within a 5-minute walk from the Spadina subway station, most students prefer to arrive by public transportation.
Walk east along Bloor Street to Madison Avenue. Turn left and walk ½ block north to #29. Less than 5 minutes.
Madison Avenue is one street east of Spadina Road. It runs south from Lowther Avenue to Bloor Street West. Students arriving by car can access Lowther Avenue from Spadina Road, Huron Street or St. George Street. Parking is available in three nearby lots:
A Green P lot on Spadina Road just north of Bloor Street West on the east side
A private lot on Madison Avenue just north of Bloor Street West, and
A private lot on Huron Street just north of Bloor Street West.
Limited street parking is also available – be sure to make note of parking restrictions and pay at
the meter.
Our St. Catharines location is located at the corner of Church and Niagara Streets, north of the Centennial Gardens. Parking is available at onsite at no charge; the parking entrance is off of
Church Street.
Take the Westchester Avenue exit, keep to the right-hand lane and travel west on Westchester to Geneva Street. Turn left on Geneva and travel north to Niagara Street. Merge right onto Niagara Street and travel north to Church Street. Turn left on Church Street and travel west to #179.
Take the Geneva Street exit, and travel north on Geneva to Niagara Street. Merge right onto Niagara Street and travel north to Church Street. Turn left on Church Street and travel west to #179
